Hope Counseling Services is dedicated to every individual; with the hope that our services will help guide you in gaining control of your life. We will help you become more open minded to suggestions and the insights of others. The counseling we provide gives you awareness, wisdom and choices. Accepting this will help you understand how to improve the quality of your life through changing beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors.
Helping our community for over a decade, our staff, collectively, has more than 60 years of combined experience in the field of Psychology and Counseling. We are locally owned and operated, and we have a Federal Certification as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. We use reality, evidence-based, cognitive therapy, and more, to meet desired outcomes of the client. We can help you identify maladaptive patterns of behavior and provide you with the tools to help you transition through today's challenges. From Substance Abuse, Anger Management, and Stress Management to Readjustment Difficulties and Quality of Life Counseling, the clinical staff, at Hope Counseling Services will help clients with problem solving, relapse prevention, and recovery. Raul Garcia, LMHC, BCPC

Raul Garcia, LMHC, BCPC, the Executive Director at Hope Counseling Services, LLC; is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor recognized by the American Psychotherapy Association as a Board Certified Professional Counselor. He received his Bachelors in Science from Regents College in New York and his Master’s in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University. Mr. Garcia served in the United States Navy for 21 years as a Hospital Corpsmen. His last duty station before retiring was NAS, Pensacola, FL. Throughout his career, his clinical contacts included Drug and Alcohol Program Adminstrator, Victim Advocacy, and Trauma Resolution. He has provided therapeutic services for the residents of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties for over the past 12 years and now also serving Fort Walton Beach in Okaloosa County. As an Assessor and Facilitator for the State of Florida Batterers Intervention Program, he teaches awareness and accountability to eliminate the use of violence to perpetrators that include behavior modification of the client and safety precautions for past and potential victims. Mr. Garcia developed a “Quality of Life” Program which teaches Life Skills and is a Certified Life Coach.
